Note:  When scheudling for a bulky pick up, it is important to know that furniture and other items will not be recycled.  They are crushed in the truck and taken directly to landfill.  (The exceptions to this are prohibited landfill materials, such as hazardous items, mattresses, large appliances, and tires that the City will drop off for special disposal).

GIVE IT A SECOND LIFE OVER DISPOSAL!  If the item is still usable it is preferred to try donation or give away at the various Burbank Buy Nothing Facebook groups first.  (scroll down to the bottom section for a full list of local Buy Nothing groups)

Are your unwanted items still in good condition? Before you call for a bulky pick up consider giving them to neighbors who may be happy to take them off your hands and put them to good reuse!
