Plastic Lids Trash Container Recycle lids that are larger than 2″ in diameter and are made from plastic #2 or plastic #5. All other lids (including any without a plastic number) should go in the trash. #1 PET are no longer accepted due to market conditions. #6 is a plastic form of polystyrene and is trash.
